The Candy Crush developers King.com will continue not to rest: After the company has been criticized on several occasions for the past few weeks, the general words "Candy" to have and "Saga" patented and competitors based on these admonish Trademarks, now the indie developer Albert Ransom raises new allegations of Kings Trademark practices. In an open letter he turned on the net at King and describes his anger that the Candy Crush developers have objected to his trademark application for CandySwipe. Whimsical: CandySwipe is two years older than Candy Crush, has a similar gameplay, similar graphic assets and even the same - lettering as the popular mobile game "Sweet!".
Apparently, the creators have then leave at least inspired by his playing, so Ransom. He has, however, remained silent all these years. CandySwipe was successful enough by his standards, ensured a steady income and feeds his family. The Patent Opposition King jeopardized now the foundation of his life, writes the desperate developers. He himself had lodged an objection to the 2012 Candy Crush brand, the dispute was far in the courts pending. Shortly before the hearing King bought the rights to a title called Candy Crusher by AIM Productions on which appeared already of 2004. Thus King now looks able to enforce its trademark rights and to undo Ransom CandySwipe brand.
